We make kilts according to customer-given measurements once we receive the order. These machine-stitched kilts are made from 16 oz tartan material. Traditional tartan kilts are worn at formal events and also worn to sporting events, graduation balls, hiking, highland games, and stag do's.
Each tartan kilt has 3 buckles and straps for size adjustment: genuine leather waist straps (4" long by 1 1/4" wide). Kilt straps on this kilt are set with an allowance of 2" looser. This kilt's front edge has fringe and is pleated to the sett but can be pleated to stripe by request. There are two belt loops at the back. The kilt has a 100% cotton lining for a soft feel when being worn. The standard kilt comes with a 5-yard, but you can convert it into an 8-yard by selecting the "8-yard kilt" option.

Kilt sizes are usually different from pant sizes because kilts are worn higher on the waist and have a different fit. Odds are it will be about 3-4" above your normal pants size. If you wear a 32 in your jeans pants, you will take a 35 or 36 in your kilt. Follow the guidelines on how to measure a kilt for accurate fittings.
